Dear Parents and Friends,

Last Sunday I led Children’s Chapel with the assistance of Abraham Oort, focusing on April Fool’s Day. From the children’s pulpit,  Finn Offensend shared the history of April Fool’s Day and Sophia Postans brought a perfect April Fool’s Day poem to read.

This Sunday for Faith in Action, Dave and Sara Morin with the assistance of Chris Husmann will help the children prepare the coffee hour. Children are welcome to bring food to contribute for the coffee.

Next Sunday April 15th, Sara Milek with the assistance of Helen Dicke will begin a mini  gardening unit with the children.  She will give a gardening orientation and then the children will press some flowers for a project on Memorial Day Week-end.

The following Sunday, April 22nd the children will head to  Sara Milek’s Cider Hill Nursery to plant flower seeds which will be transplanted in the labyrinth gardens in June. PLEASE CONFIRM  BY APRIL 13TH  if your child plans on going to Cider Hill Nursery on April 22nd. Thanks.
